Staff and Elders

Heather was born and raised in what she believes is the best Virginia (West Virginia).  The daughter of a baptist pastor and youngest of four siblings, she grew up always wanting to help, love on and nurture children.  In 2005, Heather married her husband, Will, and moved to Chesapeake, VA where they lived for 8 years before moving to Herndon in the summer of 2013.  God led their family to Cedar Run in 2015.   Heather jumped at the opportunity to answer God’s call to have her serve Him and His children at Cedar Run in the Nursery, Toddler and Pre-School ministry in 2017.  Heather has spent the majority of her life looking after little ones in various capacities from working in the nursery within her previouschurches, to babysitting, to being a full time nanny, and as a mom of two young children.  She spent several years working for Family Christian Stores where she was an assistant manager.  It is her goal to provide a safe and happy environment where children can begin to learn and grow in their faith.
